Zelens Power A Vitamin A Concentrate Serum (30ml) is a high-potency vitamin A concentrate formulated with liposome-encapsulated retinol and two retinoid esters (hydroxypinacolone retinoate and retinyl linoleate) at a combined concentration of 1%.
Enriched with a proprietary complex of fermented botanicals with natural retinol-alternative activity, this retexturising and renewing treatment improves skin’s texture and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and uneven skin tone. Leaves skin looking visibly smoother and more youthful.
WHO IT’S FOR
Intermediate vitamin A users who have been using vitamin A serum or retinol consistently – not suitable for use during pregnancy
HERO INGREDIENTS
- Retinol: form of encapsulated topical vitamin A for sustained, prolonged release and enhanced stability, increases thickness of epidermis and prompts skin’s exfoliation process
- Retinyl linoleate: ester of retinol
- Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate: cosmetic grade ester of all-trans retinoic acid, demonstrates activities of pure retinol without side effects
- AHA ester: ester of lactic acid which is an alpha hydroxy acid, moisturising and skin softening
- Proprietary Botanical Blend: unique botanical blend containing 6 plant extracts rich in Vitamin A: Sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas), Pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima), Carrot (Daucus carota sativa), Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), Kale (Brassica oleracea acephala) and Squash (Cucurbita pepo), retexturising and renewing
- Squalane: Squalane, derived from olive oil, mimics natural skin lipids and thereby reinforces skin barrier, replenishes lipids, prevents moisture loss and restores skin's suppleness
HOW TO USE
Use nightly as an all-over face and neck treatment or to target specific areas. Apply a small amount to fingertips and gently tap into the skin. Follow with the next step in your skincare routine. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day.
Alternatively, begin by introducing once every 3 nights and gradually increase to every night over a period of weeks.
Caution: In the first few weeks of use, retinol can cause transient redness, peeling and irritation. If this occurs, we recommend reducing the frequency of retinol application until your skin builds tolerance and becomes more comfortable.
