What are the shipping costs for my order?

We charge a flat rate of €4.50 for shipping within Ireland unless otherwise stated. For our friends in the UK, the shipping fee is €6. For shipping within the EU*, the fee is €6 as well.

And guess what? You can enjoy free shipping within Ireland when your final order total is €99 or more!

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

  • Dispatch Times: We dispatch orders Monday to Friday before 3pm. 
  • Quick Shipping: Orders placed before 2pm (Monday to Friday) will be sent out within 1-2 working days within Ireland. 
  • Late Orders: Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched within 2 working days. 
  • Weekend Orders: Orders placed over the weekend will be sent out on Monday (or Tuesday if it's a bank holiday). 

We always strive for next-day delivery! 

Are there additional shipping charges for international orders?

No matter where you are, we've got you covered! We offer standard shipping for €35, and you can enjoy free shipping on orders of €299 and over. *

How can I track my order?

What is your policy on returns, damages, and exchanges?

If you wish to exchange an unopened/unused product, simply message us within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and details of your exchange request. 

Please note, you must have your return authorised by a member of our customer service team before sending it, as we cannot accept returns that we are unaware of. Can I amend or add to an order if it has already been placed?

We'll do our best to make any changes, such as updating your address. However, if your order has already been dispatched or during busy times like Black Friday, Christmas, or sales, changes may not be possible. Contact us as soon as possible below to request changes. Please note, we cannot add or change products in an order that has already been placed.

The cost to book a follow-up consultation is €25.

4. What Do I Need to Prepare for My Follow-Up Skin Consultation?

Before your appointment, you’ll be asked to complete a short pre-consultation form.
It’s much quicker than your initial form and helps your Nerd understand your current skin condition and any changes since your last consult.

5. When Should I Schedule My Follow-Up Skin Consultation?

We recommend booking your follow-up 4–6 weeks after your initial consultation. This allows time for your skin to respond to your routine and gives your Nerd the insights needed to make any necessary adjustments.

How can I manage or cancel my subscription?

If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do so at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order, and you can manage your subscription from there. You can also manage your subscription when you log in to your customer account.

What do I do if an item is missing from my delivery?

If an item is missing from your delivery, it looks like there might have been a mix-up when packing your order. Please reach out to our customer service team at hello@theskinnerd.com, and send us your order number along with a photo of the items you received.  

We'll investigate the issue with our warehouse, including checking packing cameras with our Warehouse Manager or liaising with our courier provider. 

We're really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your understanding. 

If I place an order for a gift, are prices included in the package?

No, for sustainability reasons, we no longer include a packing list or pricing inside the package. This way, your gift can be enjoyed without any mention of cost, and we can contribute to a greener planet.

Ordering Environ 

Due to the high concentration of active ingredients in the Environ range, new customers and those purchasing a product they haven’t bought from us before need to complete a consultation form. You will also need to fill out this form if you haven't done so in the last 3 months. This form will be emailed to you after your order is placed or can be accessed here. Ordering Alumier 

Due to the active nature of some Alumier products, we are not permitted to sell this range directly online. We need to consult with you to help you begin or continue your Alumier Skin journey. Ordering DMK 

Due to DMK products' active nature, we are not allowed to sell this range online. It is advised that you book a 1:1 Skin Consultation with one of our qualified skin therapists for the best advice. Alternatively, please contact us below and confirm if you are already using DMK and the products you are ordering, and where they were prescribed to you. We can then send you a payment link for any products you wish to purchase.

How can I return my order?

If you have ordered the wrong product, you can return it to us if it is unused, unopened, in its original packaging and within 14 days of your order being made.

Do you offer consultations specifically for pregnant women?

Absolutely! We offer Pregnancy-Specific Skin Consultations to address your unique skincare needs during this special time. Our expert Nerds will provide you with tailored advice and recommendations.

How can I get my Skingredients Pump working again?

Thank you for reaching out and for purchasing our product! We truly appreciate your support. Our bottles use a vacuum mechanism, so there's no inner tube or straw.

To get your new Skingredients bottle working, please follow these steps:  

  • Store the bottle upright in a warm room for a few hours.  
  • Pump the bottle multiple times (about 20+). You might need to tap the bottom on a hard surface to release any trapped air bubbles.

Yes, we do! We stock a wide variety of skincare ranges and brands so we can cater to all skin needs—whether you're vegan, vegetarian, pregnant, or have specific allergies or sensitivities.

My last consultation was over 2 years ago. Should I book a follow-up consultation or an initial consultation again?

If your last consultation was over two years ago, you may need a more detailed skin consultation and sufficient time with your Skin Nerd. We recommend booking a 30-minute initial consultation again for the best advice.

How do I cancel or reschedule my Skin Consultation appointment?

Thank you for booking with our Nerds! We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, so here’s some information in case you need to cancel or reschedule your upcoming appointment. 

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: 

  • 72-Hour Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know at least 72 hours in advance. If we don't hear from you within this time limit, a €25 rebooking fee will apply. 
  • Follow-Up Consultations: You can also reschedule or cancel follow-up consultations up to 72 hours before your appointment. If you miss this window, your €25 redeemable fee cannot be returned as a voucher, and a €25 rebooking fee will apply. 
  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up for your appointment, it will be cancelled. To reschedule, a €25 fee will be required. 
  • Contact Us: To cancel or reschedule, please reach out to our team via email at consult@theskinnerd.com. 
  • Pre-Consultation Form: We require a Pre-Consultation Form to be submitted at least 24 hours before your appointment. Failure to submit this form will result in cancellation, and a €25 fee will apply to rebook.

Teen consultations: From what age can you book a consultation, does a guardian need to be present?

If you're under 18, a parent or legal guardian needs to be with you every step of the way—from booking your consultation to all communications with Team Nerd. When booking, please use the email address and contact details of an adult. We're here to help you achieve your best skin, together!

Is the price of a consultation redeemable off products?

While the consultation fee is not redeemable against products, we offer incredible value in other ways. Our expert Skin Nerds recommend only the products you genuinely need for your skin, helping you avoid unnecessary expenses. By simplifying your skincare routine, we focus on delivering results without overspending. 

How will my skin be assessed during the consultation?

Once you book in, you'll receive a Pre-Consultation form to fill out. This form includes detailed questions about your skin goals, lifestyle, and current routine, plus a request for three photos of your skin, makeup-free and in good lighting. This helps your Skin Expert Nerd get a thorough understanding of your skin in advance, so we can make the most of our time together on the call.

Where will my skin consultation be?

Your bespoke skin consultation will be conducted online via Zoom! This means you can receive personalised advice and support from the comfort of your own home, office, car, or anywhere convenient for you. We can't wait to connect with you!

Our team of qualified facialists and health providers, affectionately known as "Skin Nerds," boasts many years of experience in the skin and beauty sectors. They are dedicated to helping you achieve your skincare goals with expertise and passion.

Will my subscription be auto renewed?

Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription, you can cancel it.

How will I be charged for my subscription?

Your payment details will be stored securely, and you'll be charged for each delivery based on the frequency you select as part of your subscription. If payment fails on the associated payment method, you'll receive a notification of the failed payment. We will attempt to process the order a maximum of 3 times. If payment fails 3 times, your subscription will be cancelled.

What happens when I purchase a subscription?

When you purchase a subscription, you'll receive repeat deliveries based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select. You'll get an email notification as a reminder before payment is collected, which will include an overview of your order and a link to manage your subscription.

Do my Loyalty Rewards expire?

Your loyalty points stay active if you place an order within six months. If you haven't made a purchase in that time, your points will expire. But don't worry—placing an order within six months of your last one will keep your points balance active. So, why wait? Treat yourself and keep those points rolling in! 

Can I put my Rewards back into my account if I decide not to use them?

Unfortunately, once you've claimed your Rewards, you can't add them back to your account. However, the good news is that your Rewards won't expire once claimed! So, you can take your time and use them whenever you're ready.

Are you able to sponsor or donate to charity events?

We have a pre-set list of charities that we partner with each year. While we are unable to sponsor or donate to additional charity events, we wish you the very best of luck with your upcoming event, fundraiser, or raffle!

How can I purchase and use gift vouchers for your services?

Treat someone you care about to one of our 1:1 Skin Consultation vouchers or a Gift Card for our store.  

Please note: 

  • All our gift cards are digital, ensuring a quick and easy process. You'll receive your gift card straight to your email inbox, ready to use in no time! 
  •  our vouchers are not interchangeable

What if I have specific skin concerns during pregnancy?

Our Pregnancy-Specific Skin Consultations are designed to address any skin concerns you may have, from hormonal changes to sensitivity. You can also contact our Customer Service Team, who will be able to offer product specific advice.
