At The Skin Nerd, our core philosophy is that we put the 'care' in 'skincare'. Throughout all The Skin Nerd facets, including Cleanse Off Mitt, Nerd Network online skin consultations, the book and Skingredients, that rings true.
Not only do we care for skin, we care for hoomans, and our endgame in everything is to educate as a means to empowerment and confidence. When we receive messages from our clients and customers that they feel better about their skin and themselves, we light up. It puts the wheels of our ideas brains in motion. It is the fuel that feeds the nerdie engine that could.
We also commit to being...
- Real: we try to tell it like it is
- Hooman: because we're all only hooman, after all
- Educational: if you're not learning, our fire ain't burning
Within The Skin Nerd, there are 3 other businesses:
Nerd Network is an online skin membership programme where hoomans can avail of online skin consultations with qualified skin professionals and receive advice and guidance when it comes to their skin when they need it.
The Nerd Network was possibly the world's first online skin consultancy - we are quite proud of that - and we've been doing it since 2017. Our Nerds and Nerdettes (expert skin consultants) attend training with the brands we stock regularly, refreshing their knowledge as often as they can.
As a member of the Nerd Network, you receive access to exclusive educational content such as webinars, podcasts, videos and blog posts, as well as our Nerd Network newsletter... If you opt in, of course. We also hold Nerd Network exclusive events where our clients can come and have a chat about their skin while eating healthy-ish nibbles.
Consults are available:
8.00 – 19.30 – Monday to Friday
8.30 – 17.00 – Saturday
Sunday – closed

Skingredients is an active skincare collection filled with all of the key ingredients that your skin needs. Our goal was to make a topical skincare brand that can mirror the nutrients you get into your body: vitamins, check, good fats, check, protein, check, antioxidants, check. It's your skin's balanced diet.
The Core 4, the primary products that all hoomans should be using, is made up of a pre- and probiotic cleanser, a hyaluronic acid pre-serum and penetrant enhancer, a vitamin A and C serum and a broad-spectrum, physical SPF. The Mix + Match range is designed to make each hooman's Skingredients routine customisable, with a salicylic acid cleanser, a lactic acid and PHA cleanser, and a ceramide night cream.
