Avene very high protection spf 50+ fluid

It's very good and a small amount is sufficient.

Avéne SPF is not good

I got Avéne's SPF as recommended by my consultant during our session (which was great, and the consultant was super lovely!) I've followed my cleansing and serum steps and then I applied the spf. It is thick and white which is fine, but it didn't absorb into my face properly at all, even though I used a small amount. It left both a white residue on my skin that lasted for hours and white flakes when I lightly wiped across my face. It's not good for my oily/combination skin and all.

Hi Grace. Thanks for this feedback! Sorry to hear that you aren't loving the Avene SPF for your skin. Would you mind popping us an email at consult@theskinnerd.com and we'll have your lovely Nerd provide an alternative recommendation for you x

This is a lightweight, fast absorbing very high sun protection for normal to combination sensitive skin on the face. Extremely broad-spectrum UVB-UVA protection, photostable and dry touch, meaning it’s not sticky and not-greasy, with an antioxidant complex and soothing Avéne thermal water. Airless pump bottle to protect the formula from oxidation.

Contains:

  • Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol - hybrid UV filter with the benefits of a mineral and chemical filter
  • Pre-tocopheryl & thiadiline – antioxidant
  • Avéne Thermal Spring Water – soothing

This is ideal for all skin types, specifically normal to combination skin. Particularly ideal for those who are very pale and need very high UV protection.

How to use:

Pat ½ a teaspoon of SPF onto your face, neck and ears, plus more for other exposed areas, post serum and moisturiser, and pre-makeup, if you wear it. Re-apply after 2 hours of exposure to direct light and after swimming.
